Job Title: Facilities Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Management Professional to lead our maintenance and building performance teams.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of maintenance professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship and value for money.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including scheduling, inventory management, and budget tracking.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues, including after-hours call-outs, and ensure prompt resolution to minimize disruption to business operations.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require strong leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on, proactive approach. You should have experience in maintenance management, preferably in a residential, hospitality, or student living environment. Additionally, you should possess excellent contractor management, compliance, and preventative maintenance skills. A valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary checks (National Criminal History and WWCC) are also essential.
