We have a great opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join our dedicated team based onsite at the Nauru Regional Processing Centre.

As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for working to safeguard the company by ensuring all preventative, reactive and additional services are fully compliant with Australian and Nauru legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and all standards affecting our business.

This is a FIFO position flying from Brisbane to Nauru, working a 4weeks on/4 weeks off.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Ensure all facility maintenance tasks are undertaken in line with contractual requirements, relevant standards and meet business needs
- Ensure the facilities management team undertake all their responsibilities in a professional, timely and safe manner
- Ensure all work, tasks and projects meet agreed service levels for the contract and are value for money in line with manufacturers specification and Australian standards
- Oversight stock, tools, and consumables so they are always accounted for, recorded, stored, and maintained to the highest standard
- Successfully manage relationships including with stakeholders and suppliers that provide goods and services to the business
- Provide leadership and motivation to trades workers and engage regularly with your team/s to promote an open and inclusive environment
- Oversee and control the end-to-end facility management cycle of all assets and equipment as per our contractual requirement

**To be successful, you will**:

- Proven large scale facilities management experience either within detention, corrections, or remote mine site
- Hold or willing to obtain a First Aid, CPR & working with children certification
- Ability to undertake and pass preemployment checks such at Australian Federal Police Check, full physical and health assessment
- Provide evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 (double vaccinated)
