Job Opportunity

This is a permanent full-time position working 36 hours per week, four days a week (Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 15:30pm).

You will work in a busy waste management depot, providing a free and convenient way for residents to drop off problem wastes for environmentally friendly recycling.

The successful applicant will have experience working as part of a team, knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, principles of equal employment opportunity, ethical practice, and multicultural diversity. Manual handling skills are also required, and the ability to assess safety situations and take appropriate action.

The role involves customer service, loading and unloading with a forklift, and experience or knowledge of occupational health and safety practices. The successful applicant will also have demonstrated written and oral communication skills, and the ability to develop and modify works programs and cleaning schedules to meet customer needs.
