Job Description:

As an Asset Officer in Asset and Facility Services, you'll play a vital role in supporting the effective management of assets and facilities across state schools in South Australia. You'll work closely with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that our educational infrastructure is well-maintained, efficiently managed, and aligned with our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation of asset management initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing accurate advice and information to senior executives, managers, and relevant personnel on asset services project issues.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement objectives of the directorate by supporting various asset management projects.

Special Conditions:

  • The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care (RRHAN-EC) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course.

Remuneration:

ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
