Job Description

This role involves driving outcomes and ensuring Council's roads, kerbs, footpaths, and bridge assets are safe, functional, and aligned with strategic asset plans.

As a technical advisor, you will provide guidance to stakeholders and coordinate operational asset management activities. You will also support project managers with technical assessments and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include on-site scoping, design reviews, cost estimations, and defect inspections. You will also monitor contracts, budgets, and ensure all works meet required standards and legislative compliance.

Additionally, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement by refining maintenance management systems and data capture, identifying innovative technologies, and best practice approaches.

Ultimately, this is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the safety, efficiency, and longevity of Council's infrastructure while collaborating with internal teams and the community to deliver meaningful outcomes.
