
Healthcare Equipment Specialist

This role is ideal for a dedicated, customer-focused individual with technical expertise who thrives in dynamic healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on-site and in the workshop
- Carry out scheduled service visits and assess equipment within 48 hours of arrival
- Conduct pre-installation assessments and assemble equipment as required
- Complete off-hire rental checks and prepare assessment reports
- Provide phone-based troubleshooting support for customers and internal teams
- Deliver operational training to caregivers and staff
- Maintain stock and spare parts to ensure efficient service delivery
- Address customer enquiries, complaints, or technical issues with professionalism and care
- Prepare accurate and detailed service quotations for customers.
- Complete service notes and records after each job, ensuring all work completed is clearly documented in relevant systems.
- Write comprehensive service reports that outline the fault, repair work conducted, parts used, and any further recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of service history, part usage, and customer interactions to ensure full traceability.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (proof required)
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence with a clean record
- National Police Check Working With Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and empathy skills, particularly when working in health and care settings, and have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in healthcare or related environments is highly regarded. This role requires flexibility, with regular travel throughout the region and occasional overnight stays may be required.
