Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery unit, you will be responsible for servicing digital Xray and image-guided therapy equipment in the Newcastle, Hunter Region, Central Coast, and Northern Sydney suburbs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering, with a focus on medical equipment maintenance, installation, and technical support. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities include :

  • Providing exceptional customer service through proactive and reactive maintenance, installation, and technical support of digital Xray and image-guided therapy equipment.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer outcomes.
  • Actively participating in sales processes and providing expert technical advice to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing and resolving technical escalations, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining stakeholder update according to company process.
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge through ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded.
  • Full AU driver's license and Australian working rights.
