The Product Marketing Manager plays a vital role in driving business performance through strategic product marketing initiatives. They will oversee a portfolio of products with a robust roadmap, requiring strong analytical skills to transform the business and drive regional growth.
Your Impact and Responsibilities- You will report directly to the Manager of Marketing and play a key role in enhancing business performance through your assigned product portfolio.
- Taking ownership of market segments and leading product introductions, while driving strategic recommendations that shape future customer-focused product activity.
- Collaborating with dealers and colleagues to monitor market activity and formulate marketing strategies.
- Working with the Marketing Communications team to recommend and develop advertising and sales campaign activities.
- Traveling to source factories, where required, to be trained on new product releases and strategies.
- Driving accountability and action across the global landscape to achieve long-term growth ambitions for the business and product portfolio.
- Developing business opportunities using modeling, analysis, processes, and systems.
- Providing training and coordinating regional dealer events when necessary.
- Identifying opportunities to improve sales documentation and gaps in information delivery to support product introductions and continued sales growth.
- Taking strong accountability and awareness of current stock levels and future product arrivals to ensure optimum levels are in country.
- FOLLOWING UP SALES PROGRAMS WITH KEY BUSINESS STAKEHOLDERS TO ENSURE OPTIMUM ENGAGEMENT.
- Maintaining competitive comparisons against major competitors and presenting this content to key stakeholders.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of specification requirements to meet market demand within your assigned product portfolio.
- Taking ownership of sales & marketing program proposals with consideration of B2B & B2C campaigns.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic/analytical/agriculture/project management roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Marketing/Agriculture.
