Commercial Product Management Opportunity

IXOM is a global leader in the supply of products and services to various end markets. Our presence spans across four continents, nine countries, and numerous industries including dairy, agriculture, electricity, steel, food and beverage, pulp and paper, mining, and construction.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Product Manager to join our Traded Products team on a 12-month contract basis due to upcoming parental leave.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the commercial growth and profitability of the imported Bulk Liquids business by optimising sales and operations performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to retain existing volume and acquire new volume
  • Monitor market dynamics, supply and demand trends, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing and terms
  • Ensure compliance with product stewardship requirements and maintain high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop account plans and drive revenue growth
  • Maintain accurate market intelligence information and analyse product performance
  • Review and update product plans annually in consultation with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain etc)
  • Strong understanding of bulk supply chains, S&OP, and product offerings
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence business outcomes
