Leadership Opportunity in Disability Employment Services

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Team Leader in our Disability Employment Services team.

About the Role

This leadership position is responsible for delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented support that empowers participants to achieve their employment goals. As a Team Leader, you will be tasked with leading by example within the IEA program, taking a hands-on approach to front-line service delivery work, coaching and mentoring team members, and supporting and developing the skills of lower or similar classified staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead employer engagement at allocated sites, ensuring all workplaces meet safety requirements and relevant Award conditions are applied to participants.
  • Develop and monitor the performance of other IEA staff in relation to employment anchors, outcomes, post placement support, and all other requirements of the program.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support of lower or similar classified employees.
Key Requirements
  • A strong commitment to, and advanced understanding of, recovery-based practice.
  • Demonstrated experience working in disability services, preferably in Disability Employment Services, Inclusive Employment Australia, or similar programs.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges faced by people with a lived experience of a mental health issue.
