Care Support Specialist

  • Assist with personal care such as showering and dressing, ensuring residents' dignity and respect are upheld at all times.
  • Support day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities, providing high quality service to families and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed and residents' health and wellbeing are optimised.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work as part of a cohesive team to provide exceptional support and care to residents.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

You will be responsible for delivering person-centred care to our residents, prioritising their needs and preferences above all else. This role requires a compassionate heart, genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly, and excellent communication skills.

  • Able to build rapport with a wide variety of people, including residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A reliable and flexible team player who can adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for residents and colleagues.
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) and relevant experience working with older adults.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
