
Nurse Leader for Maternal and Child Health Services

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Leader to support the day-to-day provision of our Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service.
The MCH service provides essential support to families with children aged 0-6 years, promoting their health, wellbeing and development. As a Nurse Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our community.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the provision of MCH services, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide clinical leadership and coaching to nursing staff, supporting them to achieve professional practice standards and performance indicators.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform service planning and development, ensuring alignment with state-wide guidelines and standards.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as both Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife, and an accredited postgraduate degree/diploma in maternal and child health nursing.
- Minimum five years' experience working in MCH or a related field, with extensive knowledge and experience in working with vulnerable children and families.
- Proven leadership skills, including experience leading and supervising large teams, managing performance and behaviour, and driving change management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, support and motivate staff, fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
