The role of a Home Care Worker is to provide support and assistance to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence.
This includes providing personal care, domestic assistance, assisted shopping and meal preparation. As a Home Care Worker, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet those needs.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client interactions, reporting any concerns or issues to management, and participating in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care/Aged Care/Disability
- A First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
- An NDIS workers screening check
- An NDIS Orientation Module Completion Certificate
- A valid drivers license
- Ongoing support provided by a dedicated service team
- Opportunity to work close to home
