Job Title:

Asset Coordinator

Job Description:

This role involves working with various stakeholders to ensure asset specifications are configured correctly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing asset utilization, eliminating unnecessary assets and costs, and supporting the provision of repairs and maintenance requests.

The Asset Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining the asset database, facilitating asset maintenance procedures, and coordinating the disposal of surplus assets to obtain the best possible financial return.

Additionally, the successful candidate will provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions and ensure the physical protection, security, and control of all assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage asset utilisation and eliminate unnecessary assets and costs.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset specifications are configured correctly.
  • Support the provision of repairs and maintenance requests.
  • Maintain the asset database and other applicable databases.
  • Facilitate asset maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate the disposal of surplus assets to obtain the best possible financial return.
  • Provide management reports to assist the business in making informed decisions.
  • Ensure the physical protection, security, and control of all assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in asset management or contract management is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to support internal and external stakeholders are required.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel) is essential.
  • Experience with commercial, plant and equipment assets is desirable.
