Senior Digital Operations Specialist

About this role

The Commission drives excellence by maintaining, stabilising and improving the Commission's digital infrastructure and services. The Senior Digital Operations Specialist will partner with digital architecture, security, ICT, Enterprise Service Management, business systems and vendors to provide cross-domain consultancy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding Essential 8/PSPF in relation to Government regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, domain and Azure Administration.
  • Experience in leading work through scrum and related project frameworks.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship building and change management skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Significant experience in ICT operations, preferably in a government agency or regulated industry.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, domain and Azure Administration.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
