About the Role

Imagine working on projects that shape the future of transport infrastructure through cutting-edge flood modelling and surface water engineering.

  • Lead and deliver surface water modelling for major transport infrastructure projects.
  • Undertake flood impact assessments, waterway assessments, and surface water modelling.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate flood modelling and drainage design into large-scale infrastructure planning.

As a key member of our Bridges, Aviation & Roads (BAR) team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of Queensland's most significant road, rail, and civil infrastructure projects, delivering innovative, sustainable, and resilient water solutions that make a real impact.

What You'll Do
  1. Prepare high-quality technical reports, manage project deliverables, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  2. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, future-focused team culture.
  3. Support proposal development and contribute to business growth across Queensland.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience in flood modelling and surface water engineering for transport infrastructure.

Experience in CFD modelling and/or programming languages is a plus, but not a requirement for the role.

About You
  • The ability to work across multiple office locations and projects if required.
  • Experience working with State road authorities is highly regarded.
