Water Resources Engineer Opportunity

Join our dynamic team as a Water Resources Engineer and play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our business. In this exciting opportunity, you will have the chance to work on various surface water management studies and investigations from concept through to detailed design.

As a successful candidate, you will have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field of study. Advanced degrees are also desirable. You will need to be eligible for membership with Engineers Australia, with the ability to obtain RPEQ/NER once adequately qualified.

We are looking for candidates with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (e.g., TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, RORB, WBNM, Flow-2D), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with GIS software is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake hydraulic, hydrology, and water balance modeling with guidance from senior and principal engineers.
  • Support the development of Consequence Category assessments, including dam break modeling.
  • Assist in surface water management studies and investigations.
  • Work with the CAD team to develop project documentation.
  • Write technical reports and prepare proposals.
  • Participate in national and international conferences.
