
Senior Technical Support Specialist

This position plays a key role in providing technical support to customers and ensuring their satisfaction. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing customer sites, troubleshooting equipment, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of various equipment, including Honeywell and third-party systems.
- Configuration, diagnosis, and repair of building services such as HVAC, BMS control, and Third-Party Systems.
- Software load and configuration of Honeywell Systems and other systems as required.
- Minor project management of service projects and small works, including high-level management of customer expectations and project milestones.
- Carrying out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks.
- Pre-sales support for implementation projects.
- Guaranteeing customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers, and service recipients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- An appropriate Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic qualification is advantageous.
- 4 years' proven background in the servicing and maintenance of technical equipment.
- DDC experience: Knowledge of DDC and controls systems.
- Electrical experience: Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching.
- Instrumentation experience – Knowledge of instrumentation devices and control applications.
- Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management systems and procedures.
- Commissioning experience – knowledge of DDC / Mechanical plant.
- NV 1 clearance essential.
- Able to maintain Government security clearance if required.
- You must obtain/maintain an appropriate security clearance for your customer sites.
- You must hold a valid and unrestricted driver's licence.
