Mercy Community, a Catholic Ministry with over 160 years of history, offers community services and support in urban, rural, and remote communities throughout Queensland and New South Wales. The organisation has a mission to make a real difference in society, and its employees are expected to embody this mission through their actions.
The Executive Leader for People and Culture Transformation will oversee all typical People and Culture functions, including internal communications and change management. This role requires an experienced professional who can be strategic as well as hands-on, driving major cultural change by creating and maintaining a strong organisational culture that supports the strategy, goals, and values.
Key challenges include:
- To develop and implement a comprehensive People and Culture strategy that aligns with the company's overall strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Managing centralised People and Culture functions in a way that delights operational service streams.
- To become a trusted advisor to senior leaders on all People and Culture matters, providing guidance and support that helps them make informed decisions aligned with the overall strategy, goals, and values.
- To be a sensitive and effective leader who supports the unique Mission and First Nations portfolios.
**Success Metrics:** The People and Culture team will be measured by their ability to deliver value and contribute to the growth of Mercy Community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a true difference in a sector of critical importance to society.
