Administrative Manager Role

The Administrative Manager will lead Administration Services within each Division by implementing unit, divisional and Health Service Strategies.

This is an opportunity to provide expert, technical and risk assessment advice to Executive, Managers and staff to ensure that the administrative service delivery is aligned to divisional business goals and Gold Coast Health direction.

  • Be the senior point of operational and professional leadership for administration within the operational divisions.
  • Actively contribute to the financial management of all administration within the division, ensuring adequate human and physical resources whilst maintaining budget integrity.
  • Support the successful completion of projects in a complex clinical environment.
  • Actively engage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including building strong working relationships with Human Resource Business Partners, Workplace Relations, Operational Division Managers and Directors.
  • Ensure the administrative functions continue to enhance service delivery, building capacity and self-sustaining capability and a work environment that encourages and promotes feedback.
About You:

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification would be well regarded.
  • Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).
