Job Title: Health and Injury Management Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organisation in this dynamic role.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to provide specialist support, effectively implementing workers compensation and health and injury management activities for employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing communication with employees and their workplace to support recovery and return to work following incidents.
  • Facilitate optimal workers compensation and injury management outcomes for employees.
  • Management of illness prevention and employee workplace wellbeing.
  • Co-ordination of claims, rehabilitation and return to work activities.
  • Case management strategy development and implementation for workers compensation, health and injury management matters.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks with treating doctors, insurers, and rehabilitation providers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Insurance or Allied Health backgrounds are desirable.
  • Experience balancing a hands-on approach with a strategic mindset and bigger picture thinking.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, prioritise and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Demonstrated success in management of WorkCover claims to accelerate employee return to work and reduce WorkCover costs.
