Occupational Health and Injury Management Consultant

- Taking a holistic care approach, the role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and healing.
- The consultant will perform assessments depending on their area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
- Collaboration with stakeholders is essential, including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers.
- The role also involves working across ADF and DVA portfolios, supporting Veterans and current ADF members.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in workplace health and injury management. As an occupational health and injury management consultant, you will have the chance to work across local ADF bases and support clients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
- Clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate and achieve optimal outcomes
