Citi is seeking a skilled Loan Operations and Documentation Specialist to join their team. This full-time role will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex loan processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will review loan documentation, process and close loans within a complex loans operation environment, and provide day-to-day collateral management support.
  • This includes booking cash transactions, making payments, inputting general ledger entries, and performing complex calculations.
  • The specialist will also interact with other counterparties around positions and outstanding balances/claims, as well as support an expansive array of products and services.
  • Another key aspect of this role is following established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing activities that require investigation or research, and making recommendations to management to support process improvement.
  • The specialist will design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management requirements, support/control activities, and the launch of products/services.
  • They will make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information, and provide assistance in the implementation of loan documentation process improvements.
  • The successful candidate will minimize risk to the bank through increased knowledge of procedural requirements, understanding and monitoring errors to suggest solutions to reduce errors, and adhering to audit and control policies.
  • Ongoing collaboration with team members within and outside of own team will be required, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task with a sense of urgency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in loan operations or a similar field.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach, strong sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is also required.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
