About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team at Citi. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of loan documentation processes.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position responsible for reviewing and processing loan documents, providing support to various tasks related to the loan process, and collaborating with other teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan documentation tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify accuracy of loan documents, including contracts, agreements, and other supporting materials
  • Process loan documents in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of loan documentation tasks
  • Provide support to various tasks related to the loan process, including bookkeeping, cash transactions, and general ledger entries
  • Analyze and resolve problems related to loan documentation activities that require investigation or research
  • Maintain knowledge of loan products, services, and industry trends to stay up-to-date on market developments
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years' experience in loan documentation, banking, or a related field
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail, with high level of accuracy and quality in work
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with loan documentation software and systems, with ability to learn new technologies quickly
