Account Manager Position

Global Spill Control, a trusted Australian brand, is seeking an Account Manager to manage key mining and safety accounts across Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have industrial sales experience, preferably with safety, environmental, or technical products. They must be a confident communicator and negotiator, comfortable in both one-on-one and presentation settings.

  • Build and nurture relationships with safety officers, procurement teams, and site/store managers.
  • Manage restocking visits and proactively identify sales and service opportunities.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager - Queensland.
About the Role

This role involves working on the road, visiting sites across the state, replenishing stock, and troubleshooting as needed. The homebase is in Luscombe, and the successful candidate will be expected to drive regional growth while ensuring high-quality stock and support are available wherever safety matters most.

The company offers exceptional customer service instincts with strong accountability, initiative, and hands-on problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be the face of Global Spill Control across from Townsville, Mount Isa, Bowen Basin, suburban and regional QLD.
  2. Build and nurture relationships with safety officers, procurement teams, and site/store managers.
  3. Manage restocking visits and proactively identify sales and service opportunities.
  4. Report directly to the Sales Manager - Queensland.
Requirements:
  • Industrial sales experience, ideally with safety, environmental, or technical products.

  • A self-starter mindset - resourceful, proactive, inquisitive, and ready to ask the extra questions to uncover needs.
