Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal or Technical Director to join our Buildings team in the Sydney office. As a civil engineer in the buildings space, you will be working on significant urban development, public realm, and precinct-type projects that shape the communities in which we live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client management, winning work, and leading large proposals for urban redevelopment projects
  • Manage civil engineering design and documentation, including bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, and utilities coordination
  • Attend project meetings and lead design coordination with architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines
  • Coordinate project technical reviews and internal QA processes
  • Opportunity for project management, bid support, and line management responsibilities based on your level of experience and career interests

About You

  • Relevant qualification in civil engineering or civil design
  • Civil design experience on buildings, urban development, or land development projects highly regarded
  • Civil design technical background and familiar with relevant design guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes
  • Skilled in one or more civil design software tools such as 12d, Civil 3d, DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCAD
