At WSP, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Executive/Principal to lead our cutting-edge team in the Australian market. This exciting role will focus on complex pipe jacking projects, remediation of large diameter assets, and slip-lining in live conditions.

About the Role:

As our Technical Executive/Principal, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting site conditions, developing practical construction methods, and ensuring communication between all teams and stages. You'll also identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of our trenchless and remediation capabilities in Australia and New Zealand.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide technical support and project management to contractors, specialist subcontractors, and clients
  • Develop and interpret specifications and drawings while coordinating with various disciplines
  • Share your knowledge and expertise in all stages of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction delivery
  • Offer solutions to complex design challenges and enhance construction methods
  • Provide technical and practical construction guidance and mentorship to junior staff

About You:

We're looking for a collaborative team player with a strong approach to client-facing work, technical expertise, and leadership skills. You'll possess a deep understanding of products on the market, supplier contracts, and experience in trenchless installation projects, including micro-tunnelling and sewer rehabilitation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Professional Chartered Engineer (CPEng)
