About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Horticulture Coordinator to join our team at Melbourne & Olympic Parks. As a key member of our Horticulture team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional horticultural services and ensuring the precinct's grounds and facilities are of the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the horticulture program across the precinct, ensuring site presentation meets the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement annual and year-round color schemes, lawn aesthetics, and weed management plans.
  • Prepare and plan annual site maintenance programs, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with tenant, venue, and infrastructure teams to manage and enhance sports facilities and surrounding green spaces.
  • Drive operational excellence, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Provide leadership and support to direct reports, ensuring outcomes align with business plans and are executed to a high standard.
  • Contribute to department budgetary processes, including planning and forecasting for the financial year ahead.
