About the Role

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you'll be provisioning tailored lending solutions for experienced real estate developers operating in the greater Sydney metropolitan area. You'll be part of a new portfolio that will require contribution to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan in pursuit of specific customer, people, risk, and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence.
  • Managing approval processes, documentation, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Leading, coaching, and providing development opportunities for junior team members to allow the achievement of current and future objectives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in implementing sales, service, operational, process, and credit quality initiatives.
  • Representing ANZ in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders to advance knowledge and expertise.
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance.
  • Strong direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-centric focus.
  • Ability to drive business strategies, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Established networks to provide new to bank opportunities and support business growth.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or property economics (highly regarded).
