About the Role:

The Department for Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMS Operations Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our IT service delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the EMS Service Desk team to deliver high-quality support and services to education sites across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EMS Service Desk team to deliver exceptional IT service desk programs.
  • Foster a positive, service-driven culture within the team, encouraging staff to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor workloads, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure team performance meets departmental standards.
  • Collaborate with the EMS Operations leadership team to support the strategic goals of the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications related to Information Technology, ITIL methods, or related fields.

Special Conditions:

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed, which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:

ASO7 $108,109 - $116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
