Job Title: Associate Director, Governance, Risk

SA Health is seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of governance, risk management, and compliance practices across the Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance Branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead initiatives to improve governance, risk, and compliance policies by incorporating emerging best practices, regulatory changes, and industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice to key stakeholders, including the Executive Director of Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance, and Departmental Deputy Chief Executives.
  • Direct change management initiatives to improve the quality, timeliness, and relevance of policies and processes.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive team environment that values diversity and encourages creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Lead scenario planning exercises and stress tests for the procurement, supply chain, and finance branches.
  • Ensure PSCF is prepared for audits, including those undertaken by the Auditor-General's Office.
  • Lead development and implementation of governance and compliance frameworks that incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Law, Business Studies, Economics or other related discipline.
