We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and AI Specialist to lead enterprise-level initiatives in data and AI at SA Water. As a key member of our Technology group, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement frameworks and tools that enable effective data use, driving better performance across the business.
You will empower teams to leverage quality data while ensuring the safe and ethical use of AI. Your responsibilities will include fostering trust with our people, customers, and community by providing expert advice and service that ensures we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data and AI governance processes, systems, and practices
- Oversee data governance compliance and measurement
- Collaborate with technology and data architecture teams
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the organisation
- Ensure data and AI governance is integrated into change management for data & analytics projects
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Data and AI Governance role
- Tertiary qualifications in business management, data governance, information systems, or a related discipline
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships and networks across diverse stakeholders
- A deep understanding of the impacts of people, process, and technology in the successful delivery of data and analytics projects
