Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to support our operations in optimising plant performance, embedding best practices and delivering engineering solutions.

The Role

This is a hands-on role working closely with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, improve energy efficiency, enhance plant reliability and contribute to capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a strong safety culture through active engagement in programs and initiatives.
  • Support operations in problem-solving, root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
  • Design, implement and challenge best practice processes and systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Perform risk assessments in compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Facilitate and perform maintenance analysis (RCA, FMEA) to drive reliability improvements.
  • Lead continuous improvement and plant optimisation projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases and justifications for capital initiatives.
  • Manage plant control of change systems.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles with the ability to apply them in a practical, operational setting.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and analytical mindset along with statistical process controlling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Able to drive initiatives and manage small/medium sized projects to completion.
  • Experience in operations, maintenance or process improvement (desirable).
