Senior Scientist Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time leadership position overseeing daily operations within a Haemostasis laboratory section.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and maintain Haemostasis laboratory instrumentation and methodologies. Provide expert advice on complex or unusual test requests and clinical result interpretation.
  • Establish, monitor, and regularly review quality control and quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to laboratory management through inventory oversight, supplier engagement, incident response, and participation in divisional leadership forums.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor or higher degree in Science or Medical Laboratory Science, with relevant experience in Haemostasis testing.
  • Proficient in using laboratory information systems and able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills supporting clear documentation and effective collaboration.
