About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Principle Clinician, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to our team members. This role involves facilitating industry-leading support and mentoring junior clinicians.

You will oversee a small caseload of participants and conduct assessments and interventions as required. Additionally, you will assist with onboarding tasks such as inductions, shadowing, and report reviews.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and developing clinicians to ensure they provide evidence-based therapy in line with NDIS guidelines and Better Rehab policy
  • Identifying areas of development for the clinical team and liaising internally to meet development needs
  • Assisting with performance appraisals by providing input on clinical competencies for individual clinicians
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • 5+ years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and in the Psychology space
  • Experience providing clinical or operational leadership with PBS or MDT teams is advantageous
