In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 7-8 clinicians, including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and physiotherapists. You will work closely with the therapy manager to provide support and guidance to your team members.
The team is a highly innovative and experienced group who provide intervention in numerous therapy rooms. We operate an organization-funded baby clinic to support children under 2 at risk of cerebral palsy. Our team is supported to develop, facilitate, and engage in intensives, groups, and programs that support client and therapist interest and need.
As a Lead Clinical Team Member, you will have the opportunity to explore a caseload filled with your interests and passions. You will be supported by a clinical educator and manager to further develop your knowledge, practice, and career.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 7-8 clinicians, including occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and physiotherapists.
- Provide support and guidance to team members.
- Work closely with the therapy manager to achieve team goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and client outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Relevant qualifications in allied health.
- Evidence of current registration or a willingness to attain it.
- A current driver's license.
- Strong communication skills, including conveying expectations, providing feedback, and facilitating team discussions.
- Ability to translate strategic priorities into meaningful actions for the team.
- Problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting challenges and making informed decisions.
- Proficient user of IT.
- Commitment to supporting team members to navigate daily challenges and their longer-term professional development.
