Job Title: Administrative Support Specialist

The company is seeking an organized and efficient individual to fill the role of Compliance and Accounts Officer. As a part-time position, this opportunity offers 20-25 hours per week over 4-5 days during school hours, allowing for a excellent work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will be task-oriented, take initiative, and have strong computer skills. They will be responsible for administrative duties, including keeping organized records of consignment-specific documentation, assisting with general administrative tasks, and handling reception and typing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Keep organized records of consignment-specific documentation.
    • Assist with a variety of general administrative tasks as required.
    • Handle reception and typing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Export and Compliance Duties:
    • Ensure compliance with Australian export standards, legislation, and importing country requirements.
    • Initiate and prepare relevant documentation and conduct audits.
    • Communicate with importers to ensure adherence to ESCAS requirements.
  • Accounting Support Duties:
    • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
    • Reconcile vendor statements and perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

This role involves maintaining paperwork, raising corrective action reports and addressing non-compliance issues with management. The ideal candidate should also possess organizational skills to maintain consignment-specific records for each export consignment.
