Perth, Western Australia Sharp & Carter Accounting Clerical Perth Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The RoleThe Accounts Officer will report directly to the Manager and supporting with accounting and finance across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function as well as ad-hoc support such as payroll and bookkeeping as and when required.

The role is responsible but not limited to:

  • Provide financial administrative support in end-to-end accounts receivable and payable deliverables.
  • Perform reconciliation of creditor's accounts and follow up outstanding supplier statement balances.
  • The role contributes to resolving accounting and finance system problems with team members and customers and provides information and advice to customers on a course of action appropriate to their needs.
  • Processing of payroll accurately and efficiently, including calculations for terminations, super, PAYG, and deductions.
  • PAYG, Payroll Tax, STP and Superannuation payments.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure a high level of quality customer service and professionalism to all staff, debtors and clients
  • Build relationships with their major clients and accounts.
  • Allocating and receipting of payments

Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years as an Accounts Officer/Accounts Assistant level with AR/AP + payroll experience is essential.
  • Experience with SAP is essential
  • Intermediate/Advance with Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Full working rights in Australia
