We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Director to join our Australia-based operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Job Duties:
1. Develop and maintain a top-class Compliance program that meets regulatory requirements.
2. Support operational compliance obligations such as regulatory reporting, dispute resolution, and risk management.
3. Advise the business on day-to-day compliance-related matters.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Manage our regulatory compliance program in Australia, including monitoring and managing compliance with AFSL obligations.
2. Assist in the review and submission of reconciliations and regulatory reports.
3. Liaise with compliance officers globally on business activities conducted across different countries.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services compliance.
2. Bachelor's degree and RG146 compliance; ACAMS certification preferred.
3. Working knowledge of AFSL obligations, derivatives compliance, and associated reporting.
4. Leadership and management skills, including experience managing a team.
