Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee policies for anti-bribery and corruption, as well as anti-tax evasion facilitation.
  • Lead the development of the group's financial crime framework for these areas, including designing risk-based controls and driving standardisation across businesses.
  • Identify and communicate material regulatory changes to key stakeholders.
  • Review escalations related to anti-bribery/anti-tax evasion, including gifts & entertainment approvals and third-party onboarding.
  • Create briefing papers for governance committee meetings on thematic anti-bribery/anti-tax evasion issues.
  • Provide guidance on assessing internal controls for these areas.
  • Facilitate management meetings/briefings on anti-bribery/anti-tax evasion issues.
  • Develop communications and training materials for these topics.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in financial crime compliance, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A proven track record of building financial crime compliance capability.
  • Sound judgment in identifying and mitigating financial crime risks.
  • An interest in innovation and technology-driven progress.
