Robert Half is currently partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to recruit a Financial Crime Specialist.
This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company that values compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.The RoleAs the Financial Crime Specialist, you will be instrumental in protecting the organisation from financial crime risks.
You'll manage key AML/CTF processes, including Customer Due Diligence, transaction monitoring, and supporting investigations.
In addition, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, contribute to policy development, and act as a subject matter expert across compliance-related matters.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviewsScreen for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse mediaMonitor transactions and escalate unusual activity as requiredSupport remediation projects and track follow-up actionsPartner with Sales, Credit, and Compliance teams on financial crime mattersAssist in policy and procedure development, as well as system implementationConduct Quality Assurance reviews aligned with First Line of Risk (1LoR)Provide SME guidance on AML/CTF regulations and emerging risksAbout You3+ years' experience in financial crime compliance (AML/CTF focus preferred)Strong working knowledge of AML/CTF regulations across Australia and New ZealandExpertise in CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, and reporting obligationsExcellent organisational skills with strong attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsBanking or financial services background (preferred)Degree qualification (advantageous)BenefitsVolunteer leave (two days annually)Health and wellness initiativesFlexible hours and hybrid working optionsProfessional learning and career development opportunitiesThis is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional looking to progress their career in financial crime within a global financial services organisation.Apply Now To learn more about this role, please apply today or contact Robert Half for a confidential conversation.This is a hybrid position.
