Job Overview

The role of Financial Crime Compliance Specialist presents a unique opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive Financial Crime Compliance roadmap, driving uplift and transformation within the organization.

This key position will lead day-to-day operations of the Financial Crime Compliance stream, including team member management, acting as an escalation point, and fostering professional growth.

  • Supporting the Head of Compliance in implementing the AML/CTF framework is essential for success in this role.
  • Contribution to the enhancement of the AML/CTF Program by assisting in its design and implementation throughout the business is crucial.
  • Streamlining and modernizing Line 2 processes and procedures are vital aspects of this job.
  • Cultivating strong relationships within the Line 1 business to ensure effective oversight and engagement concerning AML/CTF compliance is necessary.
  • Fostering a positive compliance culture, offering timely and valuable advice and technical expertise on AML/CTF obligations, risks, and breaches is fundamental.
  • Taking ownership of AML/CTF assurance activities to verify the effectiveness of controls is a critical responsibility of this role.
  • Collaboration on the development of reports and communications for Line 1, executive leadership, the Board, and regulatory bodies is required.
