Water Infrastructure Design Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced design professional to lead our water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design and drafting of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Utilize advanced software tools, including AutoCAD and 12d Model or Civil3D, to produce detailed process and mechanical design documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to develop cost-effective designs for major water projects and other infrastructure projects.
  • Apply expertise in the design and detailing of water and wastewater infrastructure, pipelines, and pump stations.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in general civil design, particularly in water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • A strong foundation in water and sewerage design, including pipelines and pump stations, with a minimum of 5 years' industry experience using 12D or Civil3D, and AutoCAD in the design and drafting of Australian infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a highly collaborative environment, contributing to management and prioritization of team workloads.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Desirable experience using Inventor 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, GIS capabilities, and familiarity with Sydney Water, Southeast QLD, South Australian, or other Australian Water Authority drafting standards.
