Job Overview

The Senior Structural Designer role involves planning, developing and reviewing project civil/structural design work.

You will work in a 3D modelling environment, produce drawings, facilitate discussions, communicate complex technical issues and prepare estimates and work plans.

Your recommendations must ensure designs and work plans align with project scope, schedule and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, coordinate and review design work within a small group on medium-sized projects or assignments.
  • Produce 3D models, drawings and documentation in accordance with established design and scope, including design of concrete structures and steel detailing.
  • Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to senior management.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of design estimates and work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget.
