IP Specialist Role

This role offers the opportunity to work with national and international clients on complex and interesting matters.

The Australian IP practice covers a wide range of services including trade mark prosecution, portfolio management, confidential information, copyright, designs, domain names, patents, trade marks, IP disputes and litigation, IP commercialisation and licensing, data governance, AI, cyber security, privacy, telecommunications and technology transactions.

  • Experience in IP disputes and Federal Court litigation;
  • Progressing trade mark applications, non-use actions and oppositions before IP Australia;
  • Transactional IP matters including drafting assignments and licences;
  • Able to build rapport with colleagues and clients;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Commercially focussed problem solving mindset;
  • Persuadable, proactive and collaborative.

Working with leading IPT practitioners in a highly cohesive team will be a valuable experience.
