Financial Management Specialist

Our firm is seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, cash flow and treasury, as well as delivering accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial statements: You will be responsible for preparing and managing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and forecasting: You will develop and implement budgets and forecasts to ensure business stability and growth.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable: You will maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Cash flow and treasury operations: You will oversee cash flow and treasury operations to support business needs.
- Deliver timely and accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting: You will deliver timely and accurate month-end reconciliations and reporting to management and boards.
Requirements:
- You should have 1-2 years of experience in a financial or professional services environment.
- You should have a university qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- You should be CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification.
- You should have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- You should have an in-depth understanding of business processes and procedures.
- You should be able to manage and prioritise work effectively.
- You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
