Job Role Overview

The Insurance Loss Adjustor/Estimator occupies a critical position in ensuring prompt and accurate completion of quotes for vehicle repairs.

This full-time role involves delivering quality workmanship to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The primary objective is to be responsible for the timely completion of accurate and comprehensive quotes for accident repairs on vehicles.

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and suppliers.
  2. Accurately quote vehicles in a timely manner, adhering to average repair cost targets and insurer procedures.
  3. Complete quotes as required onsite, off-site, and online.
  4. Process vehicles onsite by conducting arrival inspections, including mapping and imaging.
  5. Manage parts for repairs to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Manage suppliers to ensure additional work is recorded and authorised in a timely manner.
  7. Assist with production management of the centre as required.
  8. Ensure vehicles are repaired to their pre-accident condition.
  9. Hand over completed repairs to customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience within a similar role, including experience in preparing estimates/quotation in the automotive smash repair industry.
  • Experience with AudaNet is highly desirable.
  • Body experience is desirable but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, including building rapport with customers and suppliers.
  • Highly professional and personable approach.
  • Strong systems knowledge and competent computer abilities.
  • Excel experience is an advantage but not necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to problem-solve with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
