Procurement Specialist

As a key member of our inventory management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our supply chain operations align with business objectives and support our overall strategy. This is an exceptional opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, safe, and inclusive environment.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing procurement plans that meet demand and stock objectives.
  • Delivering cost-effective inventory levels to meet sales demand and exceed customer expectations.
  • Minimizing back orders while achieving and surpassing Stock Availability KPIs.

This involves reviewing and completing supply forecasts, resolving forecast variances, collaborating with the sourcing team, managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, handling purchase order changes, reviewing stock position, coordinating supplier relationships, and data management.

Requirements:
  • Highly commercial and strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is highly desirable (Exceptional numerical and data analytics skills, competent in using advanced planning systems).
  • Proven experience in negotiating with external vendors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze and drive business results.
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and improve processes for enhanced efficiency.
