We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to support the development and management of procurement requirements across various projects. This role will involve ensuring the availability of resources to our partners, applying procurement best practices in a Defence supply chain environment, and maintaining data integrity of inventory management systems.

The Role:
  • Manage procurement from start to finish, ensuring delivery to schedule, scope, and quality.
  • Maintain data integrity of inventory management systems and logistics databases, supporting Program requirements.
  • Work with the SPO Inventory Team to ensure efficient procurement and repair of inventory, maintaining established stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Procure goods and services from suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements as required.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, managing stock movements and reporting on discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Practical commercial acumen, particularly in sourcing, quotations, orders, supplier engagement, and delivery management.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a procurement role, preferably in a Defence environment.
  • Computer literacy, including the use of inventory management systems, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
