Job Opportunity: Mixer Operator

We are seeking a skilled Mixer Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in the Australian construction industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial mixers to blend raw materials according to formulation and schedule.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor industrial mixers to ensure consistency and quality of mixed materials throughout production.
  • Load and unload materials using forklifts or hoists.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of mixing equipment.
  • Record batch data, monitor processes, and report any variations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment or quality-related issues.
  • Follow all safety, operational, and quality procedures.
  • General machine operation, setup, and manual handling tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience in manufacturing or mixing roles (building materials/industrial preferred).
  • Ability to follow batch instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Physically fit - capable of lifting up to 20kg comfortably.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.
